Breakfast Casserole

Not a hard meal to make, kind of a set it and forget it oven dish but it does involve a little prep work.

Tools:
Large stove-top pan
9 x 9 square cake pan
1/2 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
Large mixing bowl
Spatula
 Measuring Cup

Ingredients:
1lb. maple pork breakfast sausage
8oz cheddar cheese
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1tsp salt
1/2tsp black pepper
1/2 of a 32oz bag of shredded hash browns
Baking grease

Directions:
Heat oven to 350.
Heat large pan to medium, brown and crumble sausage (about 10 minutes). Put sausage, hash browns, salt, pepper and cheese in mixing bowl.  Mix with large spoon or spatula till well blended. Grease square pan on all sides and inside the bottom of the pan (i shouldn't have to say that last part but i no people that would actually grease the
bottom of the pan and cause a house fire)
Transfer the potato mixture to the greased pan and lightly flatten to its even in the pan.

Whisk eggs and milk lightly for at least one minute. Pour evenly across entire pan.
Place in oven and cook for 45 minutes. I then broil the top on high for a minute or 2 but that is not necessary.
